Do you suffer from pelvic pain, incontinence, or pelvic organ prolapse? Are you worried that these issues could develop at some point? A healthy pelvic floor is crucial for optimum bodily function! In this workshop, we will briefly discuss signs and symptoms and learn how every day habits and body positioning have an impact on these issues. We will learn what needs to be stretched and what needs to be strengthened in order to correct problems so you can start to feel normal again. There is limited information available on help other than Kegels! We will discuss why Kegels are NOT always the answer and how they can often exacerbate the situation. This workshop will help you take matters into your own hands by exploring alignment, core strength, flexibility, and pliability pelvic floor musculature. Included in the workshop is a detailed handout with photos and descriptions of the exercises that we will practice. Workshops are run periodically.
