The Core Connection will host a Move Your DNA weekend on March 3rd and 4th from 9 am to 6 pm. Join us for this two-day movement experience designed to give you hands-on guidance with all of the exercises learned by reading Move Your DNA: Restore Your Health Through Natural Movement. The weekend is open to anyone who has read MYDNA by Katy Bowman and would love assistance with the exercises, a chance to play with bolstering, modifications & variations, and a place to connect with others who share your passion for movement! Our studio is one of 30 centers worldwide to host these types of weekends to spread the word about Nutritious Movement. Rita Matraia, a Restorative Exercise Specialist and instructor for the workshop, will share details of this work and educate attendees on specific movement patterns. Attendees will also experience an outdoor hike and gait work as well as a fun hanging series at a local playground to demonstrate shoulder girdle strength progression.
