Angie has being practicing Reformer Pilates since 2011. Originally from Ireland and the mother of two young boys, she loves to, and has to, stay active and healthy. After the birth of her first son, she needed to restore her core strength and started practicing reformer Pilates in Dublin, Ireland. She fell in love with it. Having spent way too much money on previous gym memberships and classes only to have dropped out after a few months, she found that reformer Pilates worked for her. After just a few weeks of classes, there was a noticeable difference in energy and overall strength.
After moving the family to Massachusetts with her husband’s job in 2015, she found The Core Connection. Being a stay at home mom, she had ample time to practice reformer. After discussions with Rita and Cynthia, the idea of becoming an instructor blossomed. She completed STOTT Pilates® Intensive Reformer training in the fall of 2016 and is currently an apprentice instructor. In her previous career, Angie worked for Hewlett Packard, Ireland, for 15 years in a variety of roles from Materials Scientist and Technology Development Manager to Global IT Program Manager. She has a PhD in Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and completed a post doc in Magnetics at the University of Bristol, UK.
