April experienced her first yoga class in high school and has been on a yoga exploration ever since. This exploration brought her to the 200-hour teacher training at the Prannothan School of Yoga with Devarshi Steven Hartman. A mother of two young children, a part time graphic designer, and a long-distance runner, she believes that yoga has played a major role in keeping her grounded. April truly believes that yoga can be for anyone and that the benefits are endless. Her approach to yoga is one of compassion, self-awareness, and playfulness. April’s classes are welcoming and focus on providing a non-judgmental space for students to cultivate ease in the body and mind.
