Emily Moyer is a Yoga Alliance 230 hour accredited instructor with additional certifications in Kids, Adaptive, and Pre-natal yoga. She has over 5 years experience teaching all levels of Vinyasa Yoga. She is currently enrolled in a 500 hour yoga training program.
“I grew up in Central Massachusetts and first began practicing Yoga while attending Warren Wilson College in Asheville, North Carolina. I quickly realized that developing a regular practice helped me with every aspect of my life as I navigated the new found freedom of college that included relationships, studying, and making choices to shape the life I wanted to create.”
After two years of regular practice, Emily completed a 230-hour YTT at Asheville Yoga Center in 2009. After college, she moved to Vail, Colorado where she lived for three years, employed as a yoga and Pilates Barre instructor and Art teacher. In her free time, she thoroughly enjoyed skiing, hiking, and biking in the Rocky Mountains. Emily then moved back to NC to work full time with a non-profit yoga studio. With excitement and an inspired heart, she now returns home to her roots to settle closer to family and pursue a graduate degree in Counseling at Assumption College, and, of course, to continue teaching yoga.
Emily offers workshops at the studio while pursuing a Master’s Degree at Salve Regina in Rhode Island. She sees yoga as a way of bringing more health, happiness, and integrity into your life. By taking time to show up for yourself on the mat, you are able to show up more for everyone and everything else in your life off the mat.
