Julie has over 20 years of experience as a Group Ex Instructor, certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), and 18 years teaching cycling classes as a SPIN Certified Instructor. Julie has always been active, participating in track and field beginning in Australia from the age of 8 where she found her love of running. She competed at the national level for the 1500m at the age of 15, going on to play for the Australian National Women’s Lacrosse team in the early 80’s. After moving to the US, she completed a Master’s degree in Health, ran 5 Marathons, a 210-mile relay, and continues to teach in a group ex setting. Julie is adjunct faculty for Quinsigamond Community College where she teaches a variety of classes with Health and Nutrition being her favorite subject. When not working, she enjoys gardening, reading, and visiting her daughter in NYC.
