Does the fact that TRX was developed by a Navy Seal scare you? Don’t be intimidated! TRX is an amazing progressive workout that can be the answer to many body issues. The workout uses straps suspended from the ceiling and your own body weight! You will become very well acquainted with your CORE since it’s an absolute necessity when it comes to suspension training. In this 4-week series, we will start with the fundamentals. We’ll then progress through workouts that are modifiable for every level and will culminate in a challenging set of new tools for your at-home personal workouts as well as setting a foundation for other combo TRX classes. Key positions and movements will be emphasized so that progressions can build upon a stable base of support. We will also review strap adjustments and body positioning in order to arm you with an understanding on how to move efficiently from one exercise to the next. This series is perfect if you are new to the TRX as well as those of you who may have been doing it for a while and want to refine and learn modifications. Start with this simple TRX workout as you increase total-body flexibility, promote mobility and stability, and develop core strength! Class is taken in athletic footwear that has not been worn outside. Four-week series (when offered) is priced at $60. Drop-in is available for Monthly Pass holders pending registration.
