Growing up as a 3-season team athlete, Jen switched to individual activities in college including triathlons and road races, ranging from 5K’s to marathons. She turned her love of fitness and competition into a study of human movement, graduating college with a BS in Exercise Science. Jen enjoys sharing her knowledge and best practices in a way that inspires others to love and care for themselves, deepen their appreciation for the mind-breath-body connection, and live a happy, healthy life

Over the years, Jen has attended many teacher training sessions and holds multiple certifications. She is a ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, completed The Physical Mind Institute Pilates mat training in 2002 and Stott Pilates® Intensive Reformer training in 2004. Additional Stott Pilates® training includes Intensive Mat-Plus, Stability Chair, Cadillac, Barrel, Injuries and Special Populations, Athletic Conditioning on the Reformer, Pre-Natal, Flexibility, Shoulder Girdle Stability and Function, Yoga on the Reformer (Zen-ga) and Cueing and Correcting for Intermediate Mat Work. She is also a TRX instructor and holds a Yoga Alliance 200RYT certification.
