Teen Pilates – Strong Body…Strong Mind – 6 Week Series

Our 6-week teen Pilates series is a positive, non-competitive and inclusive environment for both athletic teens and those just looking for general fitness. Pilates tunes into body awareness, creating that mind-body connection. It not only strengthens their body but also their mind. Pilates exercises assist with the development of core strength, flexibility, and proper alignment of the spine and joints. Additionally, Pilates is helpful for anxiety and mental well-being. During each class, we will teach the principles of alignment that guide all Pilates movements, practice beginner/intermediate level mat exercises, and explore the use of Pilates Props (therabands, magic circle, toning balls) to enhance the practice. This series will leave your teen feeling stronger, more flexible and confident. Grades 6 and up. $80. No class July 4th.
