WORKSHOP: TPI Golf Screen/Workout

Join Jenna Ventura, Certified TPI Golf Training Coach and Rita Matraia for a TPI Screen, a golf-specific warmup, workout and cool-down stretch. The TPI screen is a series of assessments aimed at improving your body for the components of the swing and ultimately improving your game. There are 16 functional movement screens designed by The Titleist Performance Institute to determine mobility and stability within different planes of motion that give us an indication of what needs to be improved from a golf functional fitness perspective. For example, limited thoracic rotation requires fascial stretching through mobility drills and spinal twists to improve the golfer’s ability to optimally rotate. Got low back pain? We will train for stiffness and core using side planks, lateral core work and lateral hip stability and mobility. You will leave this workshop with screen results that will enable you to know your limitations, what needs to be lengthened and what needs to be strengthened to play your best game!
