Studio owner, Rita Matraia, has wanted to bring TRX™ to The Core Connection for years. “It’s the perfect fit since the focus is on core strength for all of the basic movements.”

TRX™ is suspension training meaning the straps hang from the ceiling.  What makes it core driven is that each strap hangs from a single anchor point. This takes into account both the vector and pendulum principals of physics. This also means it is highly modifiable. “All you have to do is change your stance and position and you have modification up or down. Because of this, we welcome beginners and teach the basics with core focus so that anyone at any fitness level can join this workout,” adds Rita.

TRX™ classes are currently available on Thursdays: TRX™ Conditioning with Rita at 9 am and TRX™ Body Blast with Monica at 5:30 pm. Watch for added classes on the schedule for fall!
