Join Nutrition Coach Jessica Bossolt for a nutrition workshop on how to eat a healthy and balanced vegetarian/vegan diet. Here is what she will cover:

1. What is the difference between the two?
2. What are your goals and motivations to choose a different diet? Is it weight loss, cholesterol, animal welfare, environmental?
3. Nutritional needs and how to meet your daily requirements of macros, vitamins, and minerals.
4. How do you get your protein? Whole foods vs processed foods.
5. Meal examples and ideas.
6. Food prep (ie How to cook tofu and prep beans)
7. Processed or frozen meat alternatives – healthy or not?
8. Is it healthier? Benefits and drawbacks of a typical Mediterranean, vegetarian, and vegan diet.
9. How to make your diet into a lifestyle that works for you.
